If you are like me, you have been 'hooked' by rug hooking. I always say that there are not enough hours in the day to rug hook. My motivation to get started came from seeing rugs that I loved in stores and antique shops, but being somewhat daunted by the high prices of some of these items. I thought 'I can do that!', so I found a wonderful teacher, Soni Cassell, here in Lincoln and started to learn the ropes (strips?). Much to the dismay of the local rug hooking community, Soni has since retired her studio. With her encouragement, I decided to open my own. I wish to thank her for the advice and support that she and her husband Dean have provided. Without her encouragement, I would not have had the courage to start a shop. I hope that I can provide the level of service that she provided and many came to rely on.
